Bayonetta 3 Launches October 28 for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo released a new trailer for Bayonetta 3 today. The game will be releasing October 28 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

In addition to the release date announcement, Nintendo has updated its website listing for Bayonetta 3 again. There is not too much of a change but the game finally has a rating. The ESRB has rated the game M for Mature. The M rating is recommended for only players 17 and over of age to play. This rating is for the North American version of the game. The United States, Canada, and Mexico each use the ESRB for video game ratings.

The reason it received an M rating was due to the game including strong language, partial nudity, violence, as well as blood and gore. The rating also noted that this game will feature microtransactions.

In many European countries, the PEGI system is used to rate video games. PEGI has given Bayonetta 3 a rating of 18+. This is a game that only 18 year old or older players should be playing but it is only a recommendation.

See Nintendo’s official website for more details on Bayonetta 3. Special thanks to Go Nintendo and Games Hub.
