Nintendo Direct Mini: Partners Showcase 9.17.2020 Reactions
Monster Hunter Direct Reactions
A day after Sony held their big event, Nintendo held a live presentation. This was the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partners Showcase. It showcased upcoming indie titles and other third-party games launching for Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter: Rise
Two of the largest titles are from Capcom. Monster Hunter: Rise was first shown off, followed by a Monster Hunter Direct after the current presentation ended. The game Monster Hunter: Rise will release on March 26, 2021 for Nintendo Switch. There will be two editions. One is the Standard Edition which mainly comes with the game. The other one was the Deluxe Edition. This will include bonus content for the game. In addition, three new amiibos will be releasing the same day and can help the player in the game. For the Deluxe Edition, this will be exclusive at GameStop in the US and EB Games in Canada. Pre-orders start today.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wing of Ruin
The next title was Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wing of Ruin. This has a release window of summer next year. More updates for both games will be discussed during the digital TOKYO GAME SHOW this year
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Ori and the Will of the Wisps was another title showcased from Xbox Games Studios and Moon Studios. A collection will also be available. The digital version is available today.
Other Games Shown
Fitness Boxing 2 Rhythm & Exercise, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Decay, Empire of Sin, Sniper Elite 4 Italia, and PGA Tour 2K21 were also announced to release for the Switch. This was followed by Hades which is available now. The other two games will be launching next year. In spring, Balan Wonderworld comes out and Rune Factory 5 releases next year, too but with no exact release date, only a window.
