This article will cover the terms of @SonicmanTheBest giveaways over on X (formerly known as Twitter). As of March 7, 2024, these terms are effective immediately. For giveaway terms on SonicmanTheBest Twitch livestreams, visit the rules and regulations HERE.

When entering any SonicmanTheBest giveaways on X (formerly known as Twitter), the user agrees to these terms.

If the user is selected as a potential winner, they will need to contact the sponsor (@SonicmanTheBest) on X within a 24 hour time period to claim prize(s) or else the prize will be forfeited and a new entry will be drawn.

User will need to follow @SonicmanTheBest, plus retweet/repost, and like the announcement, and reply to the announcement of the current giveaway to enter before the giveaway ends to qualify for entry specified in the tweet/post.

Only one entry per user and account.

To qualify, user will need to have an active Steam account to receive game(s) and be friends with the sponsor (@SonicmanTheBest) on the Steam application.

After the potential winner is drawn, that user will have up to 24 hours to reply in DMs (direct message) on X to verify the prize.

If a DM is not made before the 24 hour time period expires, the potential winner may be disqualified and a new winner may be drawn.

Only one entry per person.

Steam must be available in your region or territory to qualify.

Disqualification is possible if user is disrespectful, makes threats towards others, or is found using multiple accounts to enter.

Some content may not be possible to be rewarded if there is a different sale in your region and/or territory.

If prize is won and is not available in your region or territory, a qualifying substitution for prize(s) on Steam for another game not exceeding the value of the game (based on US dollars rounded) can be chosen but only if the winning game is not available where you reside.

Game must be listed on Steam.

No gift card(s) will be presented due to scams.

(Added May 1, 2024) Other forms of software with money (i.e. PayPal, Stripe, etc.) will not be substituted. The prize must only be on Steam. No exceptions.

Steam must be available in your region to redeem.

SonicmanTheBest Twitch Giveaway Rules in Effect as of September 26, 2023

Twitch Giveaway Rules

Now in effect as of September 26, 2023.

Section 1

By entering any giveaway on SonicmanTheBest’s Twitch channel, all persons entering hereby accept these terms. When entering, the user must abide by all rules of the Twitch ToS. Be respectful to each other and yourself, do not spam the chat, threaten anyone, or post offensive racial content in the chat. When entering any giveaway, a user interested may only enter with a single account per person.

Section 2

Please be respectful to the broadcaster. If the potential winner begins to spam, becomes disrespectful, disruptive, or threatening, the broadcaster (SonicmanTheBest) reserves the right to disqualify the winner. When a prize is given and the prize is not available in the winner’s region or territory, the prize in some cases can be substituted. For at least the remainder of 2023 and all of 2024 (unless otherwise noted), the prize will need to be available on Steam in order to be given.

Section 3

Once prize is rewarded, the user will have up to a minimum of 48 hours to verify in DMs via Twitch. If there is a scenario where the user winning was unable to claim prize due to situations of no fault of their own, they should let the streamer (SonicmanTheBest) or a moderator know within the 48 hour time table. It will be handled on a case by case scenario. But some acombinations will at least be attempted.

Section 4

If a user is found to be suspected of cheating, by using a bot, a review will be processed. If any determined bot or alternative (Alt) account(s) was/were used to make unfair advantages towards other legitimate participants, the user will be banned and will not be allowed to enter any future giveaways on the channel.

Hello everybody. I wanted to let you know that I am holding a giveaway on Twitter. With Sonic the Hedgehog’s 32nd anniversary coming up on June 23, it seemed like a great idea to celebrate. On top of that, I really wanted to do a summer giveaway in general.

The game I am giving away is the 2011 title Sonic Generations and its Casino Night Zone DLC on PC. It will only be the Steam version. Follow the steps below to see how to enter.

Leave a follow, and leave like and a retweet to the original tweet in the thread to qualify as an entry for a chance to win a free copy of Sonic Generations on Steam. One lucky user will randomly be selected to potentially win on June 29 if no rules are broken.

The winner will be drawn that same day and announced no later than June 30 at 11:59pm ET. A random winner will be drawn July 1 and that user will have up to 72 hours to respond on Twitter via DM to verify such user is the winner. If no such reply is made within the 72 hour time frame, that potential winner may be disqualified by the sponsor’s secretion and a new user will be drawn.

I want to add that it will be a random Steam game. I already have the keys, so this time, the game title is final.

500 Subscriber Steam Game Giveaway Special

Hello. I want to thank everyone for all the support over the last 13 years on YouTube. I am now halfway to 1,000 subscribers. To celebrate, I will be doing a giveaway here on YouTube. I will go over the details on how to enter.

As I mentioned in my previous video, I will be doing a giveaway for reaching 500 subscribers. All you need to do to enter is subscribe to me, SonicmanTheBest. That is it. One lucky winner will be drawn on December 20. The prize will be a free game on Steam.

I said the price of the game on Steam was previously $15 USD. But I have reconsidered by changing it to $20 USD. (I will eat the price of taxes.) A Steam game or DLC (only through the Steam client) of your choice, so long as it does not exceed $20, can be yours just by subscribing.

If you reside outside of the United States, you can still enter where giveaways are legal. On Twitter, I briefly went over the price conversions in other countries. While I will not be going over the currencies in every country in the world, I will go over a handful of them where many of my viewers live. These prices are based on XE and I have rounded the estimates, so they will not be exact.

Like I said, the price will be $20 in the United States excluding taxes. If you live in Canada, the price of the Steam game cannot go over $27. In the UK, it will be £16, $29 in Australia, ¥2,700 in Japan, and €20 in much of Europe. These prices are only estimates and may not equal the actual game or DLC price in your country. These figures are based on the US dollar.

To accept the prize, you will need to have a valid Steam account and be friends with me on Steam. (You can remove me after you redeem it.) The game must be available in both the United States and your region that your Steam account is set to in order to redeem it. If the game is discounted where you live, there is not a very good chance I will be unable to gift it to you. But you will not have to pay anything to enter and subscribe.

Subscribe to SonicmanTheBest to enter. If you have already subscribed, you will automatically be entered. One winner will be chosen on December 20 no later than 1pm ET / 10am PT / 6pm GMT and announced in a video. Then, you will have three days to reply with that winning account to message me privately to tell me what game or DLC you choose, so long as it does not exceed $20 USD. If no reply is given within 72 hours following the upload of that video, the winner will be disqualified and a new one will be drawn.
