Nintendo of America Has A New President & COO

Game Being Played: Mario Tennis

Today is Monday, April 15, 2019, the day Former COO & President Reggie Fils-aimé retires from Nintendo of America. (May this serve as a reminder to quickly mail in those taxes in the United States, as well. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY!) Today is also the day Doug Bowser takes over as COO & President of Nintendo of America Inc. He served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Nintendo of America Inc. before.

Doug Bowser will serve as COO & President of Nintendo of America Inc. as of Monday, April 15, 2019. He will be the lead operator for all things Nintendo and third-party games on its platform throughout the Americas. This includes the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Reggie Fils-aimé can finally enjoy time off from work with his retirement with his family. As a businessman, it should come to no surprise he would have made enough money to retire at 58, assuming he was responsible. Let’s wish the Regginator congratulations and a farewell!

Additionally, we will look forward to Doug Bowser serving as the new COO & President at NoA in Redmond. April is also the first month of the new fiscal year for 2019. It seems like a great way for Bowser to be promoted as the new ‘Big Boss’. (New DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, anyone? No?) Another thing, Mario needs to watch out for Bowser.
