Games Confirmed To Be Coming To Nintendo Switch During Nintendo Direct

Nintendo Direct was aired the other day and many games were shown off. With first-party games, we already had Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker release in 2018. But DLC is available now for purchase in the Nintendo eShop. They also reminded us that Yoshi’s Crafted World launches March 21. Another game shown was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The third update is coming, new amiibo are on the way, and Joker from the Persona series is coming to DLC Pack 1 in April. Also, Fire Emblem: Fire Heroes was confirmed to now release this summer.

In addition to Captain Toad DLC and Yoshi, Nintendo showed us Super Mario Maker 2. The game will launch this summer along with MARVEL Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Another game that excited everyone was the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening; which launches later this year. Bayonetta 3 was also talked about for ten seconds. Basically what was said was the game is coming along in development.

Other games shown are Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered, Tetris 99, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Bloodstained, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon, ONIKANI, Astral Chain, DELTARUNE Chapter 1, and Dead by Daylight.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered releases on Nintendo Switch May 21. The bundle includes Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, and Assassin’s Creed: Tyrant of King Washington. The game Tetris 99 is available to download for free. (Nintendo Switch Online may be recommended.) Next, from SQUARE ENIX, we have Dragon Quest XI Q and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon coming later this year to Switch. Another game from the company is Final Fantasy IX; which surprised fans with the announcement that the game is available now for Switch. The last game to be discussed here is Dead By Daylight. The game will launch in the fall.

It was a very good Nintendo Direct. Many games were shown off. Also, if you don’t count Captain Toad or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there wasn’t any ports shown. (Those game are getting expansions. Link’s Awakening doesn’t count as it is a remake.) Many games were shown off. It looks like a great year to own a Nintendo Switch.
