Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the fifth entry in the Super Smash Bros. franchise. The game will release on December 7 for Nintendo Switch. It is the next game after Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS.

Earlier this year, Nintendo attended the annual E3. They showed their Nintendo Direct for E3. Many games were shown to arrive on the Switch either this year or next year like Fortnite, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Super Mario Party, and more. Towards the second half of the Direct, Nintendo showed off Super Smash Bros.

A trailer showed up with Masahiro Sakurai talking via a translator. (Outside of Japan) We learned that everyone from every single past Smash Bros. would make a return as playable characters. Even third-party characters like Sonic, Snake, Mega Man, and Cloud make an appearance. New characters are coming too; Ridley is one of them. At the end, we learned the game was called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was confirmed to be releasing on December 7 for Nintendo Switch. It will for sure drive up the sales for Nintendo Switch and the game. It will be a great game for Christmas, too. See ya next time.
